COSMETIC PLASTIC SURGEON
Dr. Sameer Karkhanis, is a Board-certified plastic and cosmetic surgeon. He holds the decade-old experience in the field of Plastic Surgery. He graduated from Grant Medical College in 1995 and did his Super speciality training in Plastic Surgery from the Lok Nayak Hospital New Delhi. He has undoubtedly proven his skills not only in academics but is well known for near perfect skills. His passion to reinforce his skills in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery has helped to advance to new heights.
Dr. Karkhanis keeps himself abreast with the newer nuances and techniques in the field of Aesthetic Surgery. He holds the subspecialty interest in the domain of cosmetic and breast surgery, body contouring, hair restoration surgery & aesthetic surgery. Dr. Karkhanis is successfully affiliated with Currae Hospital, Thane, as a senior Consultant Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon.
Dr. Sameer kaharkanis has successfully completed his fellowship under various renowned names such as Brazilian scientific institute of plastic and reconstructive at the Elbert ensitein hospital. The fellowship has him a unique opportunity to interact and operate with large numbers of aesthetic surgeons thereby gaining first-hand experience and knowledgeable insights to ace skills.
DR. BIJOY METHIL
(13th May 1973 – 29th Jan 2018)
Dr. Bijoy Vishwambharan Methil has successfully completed his training in general surgery from the INHS Asvini, Mumbai. Following his surgical training. Dr. Bijoy was board certified with the MCh in Plastic Surgery in 2004 and cleared the Diplomate of National Board in Plastic Surgery to add another feather to his cap. He was the proud member of various medical fraternities. Not only he was the professionally well-renowned surgeon but is well known for the passionate, loving, caring, humane individual. He was the “the pillar of strength” for everyone around him.
Dr. Methil holds the special interest in facial cosmetic surgery, nonsurgical facial rejuvenation, cosmetic breast surgery & body contouring, head & neck reconstruction & breast reconstruction. He has presented several papers at conferences. He was the achiever of the prestigious Kilner Award of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India.
Dr. Methil was a philanthropist and donated to the local girl orphanage every year. He was an avid trekker. But, life had charted altogether different plans for him he met with a fatal accident while returning home from one of the rides on 29th Jan ’18. He is survived by his wife 2 lovely children Aditya (17) & Aanya (8). He lived life to the fullest and always encouraged the same.
